Imagine the power expressed
by true faith, and the complete freedom of personal spirituality when the
effects of the social constraints of race are removed. The Holy Spirit
can and will work within you to transform you further into the image of
Christ, through the renewal of your mind. Learning to transcend this
social constraint, to embrace everyone regardless of race or color in an
inclusive and respectful way is
what Jesus Christ demonstrated. In order
to be free of the divisive, isolationist aspects of race in America,
Christians must therefore learn about what Jesus has to say about
relationships in general.
We seek to understand and practice
what Jesus teaches about how to love one another, and how to live out
biblical faith, true Christianity, in accordance with God's values and
Christ's teachings. When community encompasses Christ's love by welcoming and including persons of
diverse races, colors and cultures, and practices the spiritual teachings
of service, sacrifice, confession, forgiveness, repentance and
reconciliation, the beloved community of multiracial inclusion is
realized.
