Since 1998, R. Tyrone Kelsey has served as Chair of Ford Motor Company's Information Technology Diversity Action Team, an employee-driven endeavor supporting Corporate efforts to create a diverse and inclusive working environment.  His work in this capacity was featured in the February 2004 issue of Profiles in Diversity Journal magazine.  In 2006, along with his partners Sherry R. Perkins and Maria Wyche, he founded Jesus, Race & You Ministries, Inc., an intra-church ministry with a mission of facilitating racial reconciliation and the building of inclusive community within the Church. 


Tyrone's consulting expertise helps congregations understand and implement practical measures in the forms of facilitated conversations, lectures and workshops regarding strategic planning, change management and spiritual formation.  Tyrone has partnered with Zoe Life Publishing and is currently writing a book and facilitation guide (2008 publication) which will further equip congregations in their journey towards becoming a beloved community of multiracial inclusion. 

Tyrone is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, B.S., and Ashland Theological Seminary, M.A. Tyrone and his beloved wife Karen have been married for 20 years and live in Ypsilanti, Michigan with their three children Karsten, Constance and Kalif.
